New Account Director - Northeast US

­Position Summary

Vivacity Infrastructure Group is seeking a New Account Director who will work across all Vivacity business groups and have daily interaction with project management, project development, operations and executive team members to develop sales offerings built on individual business cases. This role will require you to seek out and listen for crossover sales pursuits where we can demonstrate our company’s competitive advantage as a full-service, turnkey fiber and wireless infrastructure developer that designs, builds, operates and maintains open access fiber network assets while integrating wireless A&E services into their ecosystem.

We seek someone willing to prospect new business by conducting research to identify key decision makers and influencers within target segments of Vivacity Infrastructure Group, eX² Technology and Terra Consulting Group. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Works with project management and across affiliate business division personnel to generate initial customer interest to secure an introductory meeting and set appointments to collaborate

  • Qualify specific pursuits for fit with business capabilities of Vivacity Infrastructure Group, eX2 Technology, and Terra Consulting Group to determine winnability

  • Presents customized solutions for prospective clients including recurring dark fiber lease, fiber design and build services as well as wireless A&E services

  • Skillfully probes for objections and removes obstacles or eliminates barriers to gain commitment; sell MRR and NRC based solutions

  • Closes Sales: Naturally leads the sales process to win based on relationship development, win-win solution and proactive selling/consulting services

  • Negotiates the Sale: Facilitates successful outcomes to optimize profit and create a “win-win” for the company and our customers

  • Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of Vivacity’s sales process, products and solutions to ensure customer pursuits and agreements address their needs and match our company’s capabilities

  • Develops a deep understanding of a customer’s business, corporate priorities and industry to effectively identify solutions that align with the customer’s strategy and needs

  • Develops, owns and documents the multi-faceted account plan and growth strategy for each customer; manages priorities and eco-system partners to meet established milestones and achieve sales growth objectives

  • Acts with a sense of urgency and works in close partnership with executive and operations team members

  • Manages a pipeline of opportunities in company CRM, including generation of accurate forecasts and attainment of assigned quotas

  • Participates in, and successfully completes, all required training; participates in team meetings and activities, as required

Job Requirements

Qualification & Education

  • A four-year degree from an accredited university or college is preferred.

Experience

  • Accomplished sales professional with 7+ years selling within technology vertical which may include wholesale fiber networks and/or services; experience selling equipment or professional services within the technology construction wireless, wireline, data center or infrastructure segments (LTD, 5G, Fronthaul, Backhaul, Transport, Lit and Dark Fiber architecture)

  • Experience navigating government sales and private-public partnership

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape and/or eco-system including fiber, transport, wireline, wireless, etc.

  • Demonstrated strong communication, written and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close
