Rural Nebraska Healthcare Network
The Rural Nebraska Healthcare Network is an 800-mile long haul network with circuits to Denver and Omaha serving hospitals, behavioral health providers and associated health clinics. eX² provided RNHN with consultative product design and selection services as well as completed field installation of edge routers at locations on the RNHN broadband fiber network across the state of Nebraska. Tasked with meeting stringent USAC product and timeline specifications, eX² leveraged its strong project management experience while working closely with each facility to ensure on time/within budget project execution.
Anova Financial Networks
Anova Financial Networks delivers the lowest latency networks and exchange feeds to the electronic trading sector over fiber and a proprietary transport system. Through a multi-project partnership, eX² provided design, construction management and permitting services for the installation of fiber optic cable into Anova’s existing duct in Illinois and New Jersey. Following installation, eX² spliced, terminated and tested the fiber optic cable.
eX² is providing outside plant engineering services that includes determining the best point of entry for 16 Verizon Business locations. eX² is engineering the most effective route from the fiber optic backbone into the equipment housed inside the telecommunication huts. Services also include permitting, bidding, construction management and as built final documentation. This design-build project will enable Verizon to deploy 5G infrastructure throughout Chicago.
NEO Connect is an industry leader in planning, community engagement, design/engineering, business modeling, financing, owning and operating fiber optic, wireless and FTTH networks. As an ongoing partner to NEO, eX² Technology provides high-level design and consultative services for fiber deployment projects for NEO’s town, county and regional governmental clients. eX²’s scope of work includes design routing and FCC analysis and estimation for middle mile and FTTH network projects.
As a partner to MetroNet, eX² is providing ongoing design, engineering and permitting services across 11 MetroNet markets and four Midwestern states. eX²’s scope of work includes the design and engineering of communications huts to support MetroNet’s fiber to the home deployments.
eX² Technology is providing design services for two telecommunica-tions shelter sites that will support a smart city, FTTP network throughout the City of Fullerton, CA. eX² engineers are working closely with authorities of jurisdiction to meet all applicable codes, requirements and processes for approval and construction permits. eX² prepared complete site and shelter construction drawing packages, including grading and erosion control, gas and power specifications as well as rack elevations, DC power and site alarm systems and wiring.
While completing small cell deployments in Texas, KGP called upon eX² to provide design, engineering and permitting services. eX² is coordinating with local governmental entities and power companies to secure the right of way while managing the permitting and make ready processes to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
eX² supported Level 3 during its network expansion efforts by providing design, engineering, permitting, construction inspection, fiber optic splicing and testing services for fiber network deployments. eX² completed long-haul and metro projects throughout 15 states, including major markets such as Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, New York and Pittsburgh totaling more than 1,000 fiber miles.
eX² Technology is providing design and construction services for a multitude of fiber deployment projects under a subcontract agreement with Unlimited Technology, Inc. (UTI). eX²’s scope of work includes outside and inside plant design as well as last mile aerial and buried fiber connections to various AVANGRID facilities, spanning its entire footprint throughout New York and New England.
