For all fiber design projects, eX² integrates design and engineering services into the project lifecycle, including permitting. We establish a Permit Impact Plan and Schedule to provide partners with strategic permit research, permit drawings, permit constraint identification, permit and multi-jurisdiction coordination, permit applications and submittals, agency communications, permit status tracking and permit closeouts.
Our capabilities include identifying applicable permitting agencies, preparing accurate design drawings, filing and negotiating permits and supporting approvals at the local, state and federal levels. This permitting process positions us, as your partner, to coordinate effectively with utilities, cooperatives, permitting authorities, pole owners, construction contractors and project owners as designs move from concept to construction. We have extensive experience with culturally sensitive lands as well as submitting biological evaluations, plant surveys and other land resource assessments. We proactively engage with anticipated permitting jurisdictions to best understand their requirements, processes and review timelines. This early due diligence positions us to begin permitting activities quickly, reduce schedule uncertainty and accelerate overall project delivery.
