Ben Polsky, Director of Partnership and Business Development, has extensive experience in digital infrastructure, smart cities, public-private partnerships and public policy across the private, nonprofit and public sectors. He is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and business opportunities that support the development and commercialization of critical infrastructure at eX².

Throughout his career, Ben has worked in technology, infrastructure and public policy, with expertise spanning fiber optic networks, wireless infrastructure, broadband, partnership development and smart cities.

As former Broadband Manager for the State of California, Ben performed policy and financial analysis for the development of California’s $3.87 billion open-access middle-mile broadband network. There, he built strategic partnerships and helped develop policies designed to expand connectivity and internet access throughout the state. His work also included developing Tribal policy for concessions to connect to the statewide middle-mile network.

Ben has led planning and partnership initiatives within the data center industry, cultivating relationships with Fortune 500 companies and supporting AI, cloud, content and carrier partners through advanced digital infrastructure.

Ben holds a Master’s in International Policy Studies from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Skidmore College. He is also an Association Fellow with the International Strategy Forum.
