Our subcontractors are an extension of our team. We evaluate each company to ensure they meet the standards expected across every eX² project.
eX²’s subcontractor prequalification begins with our formal Prequalification Questionnaire and an in-depth conversation with potential subcontractor partners. Our subcontractor qualification process ensures the subcontractor satisfies the following main factors:
Complies with required corporate and individual experience with the bandwidth to contribute at the level required and complete project within the contracted performance period.
Holds the appropriate licensing, registration, insurance and bonding specifications while confirming financial stability and providing a satisfactory credit report.
Complies with project-specific technical requirements, has a low EMR rating and shares the same safety guidelines as our own eX² employees.
Has local market knowledge and experience with an excellent industry reputation or past experience with working eX².
How We Manage Subcontractor Partners
As the primary Contractor, Design Lead and Lead Contractor, eX² Technology has a commitment to mentoring subcontractors to help develop their staff and make their overall businesses stronger through meaningful roles on projects and long-lasting partnerships
During projects, we provide active oversight and support to help subcontractors perform safely, efficiently and successfully. We meet weekly, if not daily, with the entire team to mentor, train and address any issues promptly. We are transparent and share resources, including our Safety Management System, Job Hazard Analysis forms and QC processes. We conduct routine, in-person jobsite assessments designed to improve safety, quality and production.
We have an established project management approach that ensures projects stay on schedule and meet standards. Our approach includes focusing on best practices like clear communication, detailed contracts, onsite meetings, clear expectations, teamwork and partnerships, payment management, safety and compliance, documentation, record-keeping and conflict resolution.
