Chad Renfro, Director of Engineering, brings 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and fiber optic industry, with expertise spanning engineering, project management, business development and construction management to the eX² engineering team. He leads the company’s fiber design and engineering efforts, overseeing the development of innovative solutions for complex fiber optic network deployments.

He was instrumental in building and developing eX²’s fiber design team and has advanced processes that improve the accuracy and efficiency of network design and construction, including paperless construction workflows, real-time design and geospatial as-built updates and comprehensive outside plant (OSP) estimating models.

Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with the State of Georgia and a Certified Fiber to the Home Professional (CFHP).
