Jeff Sobotka, Senior Vice President, is part of the Sales and Business Development team at eX² Technology where he oversees the development of new opportunities, builds public-sector partnerships and leads client relationships. He has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and public service industries, bringing expertise in project leadership, project management, lease and right-of-way negotiations and partner agreements.

Jeff previously served as Arizona’s first State Broadband Director at the Arizona Commerce Authority and authored the State of Arizona’s BEAD and Digital Equity pre-plans, which were accepted by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). He also has extensive public-sector experience managing state, county and municipal government telecommunications business for major corporations.

Throughout his career, Jeff has held sales, sales leadership and channel management roles at AT&T, T-Mobile, XO Communications and Lumen.

Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Arizona.
